Fisheries Museum (Aquarium)

The Fisheries Museum, situated near Marina Park in Port Blair, is an engaging marine aquarium managed by the Department of Fisheries. Housing over 350 species of marine life endemic to the Andaman and Nicobar waters, it is a favorite educational attraction for families, students, and ocean enthusiasts. The museum features large glass aquarium tanks filled with vibrant clownfish, surgeonfish, lionfish, sea anemones, giant sea cucumbers, and living coral specimens. It also exhibits preserved skeletons of sperm whales, sawfish snouts, sea turtles, and rare shells collected from the Bay of Bengal.
