The Shyamnagar Mud Volcanoes are rare geological natural wonders situated in the dense rainforests of Shyamnagar near Diglipur. Formed by natural subterranean natural gas and mineral water pressure, these mud vents bubble continuously, pushing grey clay mud upward into small cone-shaped miniature craters. A short 15-minute nature walk through dense tropical jungle leads to the active mud volcano clearing. Unlike Baratang's mud volcano, Shyamnagar features active bubbling mud vents in a peaceful rainforest environment.
